A Low Country man has been indicted by a federal grand jury after he allegedly set a Tesla charging station on fire. Last month, a Tesla station on fire at the Tanger Outlet Mall in North Charleston.
24 year old, Daniel Clarke-Pounder of James Island was later arrested. He is also accused of making a Molotov cocktail. The ATF was able to track the suspect through surveillance footage. Clarke-Pounder is charged with arson and other charges related to the Molotov cocktail.
Court documents say a manifesto was found at Clarke-Pounder's apartment that expressed anger with the Trump administration, the creation of DOGE and the involvement of Elon Musk in the government.
