Greenville County’s largest employer is set to adhere to the federal vaccine mandate. Prisma Health announced Friday it will require all employees to be vaccinated by the early part of next year. The healthcare giant issued a statement saying “ Prisma Health is committed to complying with all federal requirements and we have begun implementing the proper protocols for compliance.”
The federal mandate requires all employers with over 100 employees to vaccinated by early 2022. That mandate is being fought in court as South Carolina and several other states have joined together in a lawsuit to stop the mandate.
