The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect in Monday morning's deadly shooting on White Horse Road has been arrested in Georgia. Deputies responded just before 2AM after dispatchers received calls about that gunshot victim who has been identified as 26-year-old, Gustavo Angel Santiago-Espinoza from Greenville.
The Sheriff's Office says, 32 year old Gerald Eveliz Lopez Aguirre was detained by Doraville Police. He is currently being held in the DeKalb County Detention Center awaiting extradition back to the Upstate.
Aquirre is facing charges of murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a firearm by an unlawful alien and possession of narcotics, third offense.
