The man convicted of killing three teenagers in Greenville County back in the 70's will go before the board this week, to be considered for early release. This will mark the 20th time the board has considered the case of now 72 year old, Charles Williams.
He's serving three consecutive life sentences for killing 16 year old Kathy Smith, her friend 17 year old Cynthia Jones, and 19 year old Rhonda Adams. All three of their bodies were found dumped in the Reedy River.
Smith and Jones both went missing in September of 1975, witnesses reported seeing them with Williams just prior to them disappearing. Adams was murdered by Williams in an unrelated incident.
Williams will go before the board on Wednesday. He's currently being held at Broad River Correctional in Columbia.
