An already convicted murderer from North Carolina has now been charged in connection to three more deaths in three different states. Alfred Louis Logan Jr. has already been sentenced to 30 plus years in prison on a 2nd degree murder charge.
That sentence stems from the 2021 shooting death of Kedrick Tevon Green in the Arden Community of Buncombe County. Officials say, Green was found shot to death in his car. His cell phone was tracked and that led investigators to Logan. He was eventually apprehended by the U.S. Marshals in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
Authorities now say that Logan faces charged following deaths in York County, South Carolina, Wake County, North Carolina and Birmingham, Alabama.
The York County Sheriff's Office says Logan is charged in the overdose death of 29 year old Jacob Azar, after he was found dead in December of 2021 at a hotel in Fort Mill. That same day an Alabama man was found dead dead near Birmingham after being shot multiple times in a carjacking attempt.
Logan was arrested in November of last year for a murder in Wake County, North Carolina. He appeared there Thursday morning at a hearing for that charge. Authorities say that Logan's girlfriend Lindsey Calton was also arrested in connection to the murders in Western North Carolina and Alabama.
