A man is dead following an accidental shooting in Abbeville County, Tuesday. The Sheriff's Office there responded to a home on Keowee Road and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
He was airlifted to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead. The Abbeville County Coroner's Office has identified the man as 22 year old, Michael Alexander McMinn.
The Sheriff's Office has ruled the shooting as accidental and no charges have been filed.
