A murder investigation is underway after a deadly shooting in the Upstate. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of shots fired around 3AM Monday morning on Boiling Springs Road near California Avenue.
Upon arrival, deputies found a white Lexus that had crashed into a building. The vehicle had been hit with gunfire several times and a male victim was found inside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Spartanburg Regional , where he later died.
The Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 34 year old, LaBrian Jamar Beasley. No arrests have been made in the case and no further info has been released as of the time of this report. We plan to have more on this story as new details emerge.
