An investigation is ongoing after a man was found dead in downtown Greenville over the weekend.
The Coroner's Office says the man was found unresponsive on a stairway in the 200 block of North Main Street, just before 8AM Sunday morning. The deceased has been identified as 25 year old, Ismael Corona Alvarez.
An autopsy is scheduled be performed on Alvarez Monday. The death remains under investigation by the Greenville Police Department and the Coroner's Office.
