A Greenville man who sexually assaulted a child and got the victim pregnant is going to prison for more than a decade. The 13th Circuit Solicitors Office says, 40 year old Osaze Jonta Crooks pleaded guilty last week to a charge of criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Court records say, that Crooks sexually assaulted a 13 year old girl and got her pregnant. Officials report that DNA tests were used to confirm that he fathered the child.
Crooks has been sentenced to 15 years in prison and will be required to register as a sex offender upon his release.
