An internationally known rock band from the local area is set to perform in the Upstate this summer. Legendary southern rockers the Marshall Tucker Band will take center stage in their hometown of Spartanburg in June.

The band has been around now 5 decades and have toured the world. Their first hit single "Can't You See" debuted in 1973. They followed that up in 1975 when their single "Fire On The Mountain" peaked at #14 on the charts. Their "Carolina Dreams" album in 1977 produced their biggest smash as "Heard It In A Love Song" that went as high as #14.
The Marshall Tucker Band will take center stage at Morgan Square in Downtown Spartanburg June 7th, as part of the festivities of the BMW Charity Pro-Am. The show is an admission free event.
