A mental health counselor who was assigned to a school in Greenville is now facing multiple charges.
The Greenville Police Department says 42 year old Christopher Haines has been arrested and is charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor, criminal solicitation of a minor, unlawful conduct towards a child and assault.
The investigation into Haines began last month when the minor reported that they had been sexually abused by Haines.
Police say Haines was employed by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and was working at West Greenville School.
