An Upstate police department is searching for answers after a million dollar jewelry heist, last week. The Spartanburg Police Department says, the Queens Jewelers at the Westgate Mall was burglarized, the night of March 6th.

The business owner got an alarm notification of activity at the store, after hours. He then accessed his security cameras from his cell phone and and saw three suspects taking merchandise from the display case. The owner says that over a million dollars worth of high end jewelry was taken and only a portion of it was insured.

No arrests have been made in the case, anyone with information is asked to contact the Spartanburg PD. While this the largest such incident, it marks the 5th reported theft from a store at the Westgate Mall since January 1st. Arrests have been made in three of those cases.
