Searches for missing people rarely end well after three days. As it happened Tony Boseman was located about a hundred yards from the front porch he had been sitting on when he disappeared Sunday afternoon. He would've been within sight of the house, but Boseman who suffers from dementia had wandered into a tree-lined drainage ditch.

He was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation, although EMS personnel said that except for severe dehydration, he appeared to be in surprisingly good condition for a man of his age who had gone for three days food and water or his medication for type-two diabetes.

The search by Sheriff's Deputies with tracking dogs helped by volunteers covered a ten-mile radius. The Sheriff's Office and SLED helicopters had also joined the effort, but Boseman's relatives, who had gathered for prayer when they were told he had been located, said "Angels were watching over him."
