The body of a missing swimmer has been recovered from a Western North Carolina lake. Jackson County Emergency Management’s search for a missing swimmer ended Monday when their body was found in Lake Glenville.
The victim was presumed to have drowned after their friends reported them missing on Sunday.
The search stretched across two days starting Sunday, then ending the following day.
The identity of the deceased has not been identified, as of the time of this report.
