DHEC has informed Greenwood School District 50 officials the state health agency has identified a person with Monkeypox at Northside Middle School.

DHEC told the district it was an isolated case with no close contacts and there was no exposure at the school. As of last Friday, DHEC reports there are 100 cases of Monkeypox in South Carolina with 28 of those cases reported in the Upstate.
