The identity of the driver killed in an Upstate crash has now been released. The moped driver who died in a crash in Spartanburg County Wednesday morning has now been identified as 33 year old, Brenden Chaz Hawkins of Woodruff. He was pronounced dead around 6:45 Wednesday morning after he was rear ended by a tractor trailer.
The crash happened on Highway 101 near Greenpond Road near Woodruff. The Highway Patrol says Hawkins was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the moped in the collision
