More information has now been released in the Deputy involved shooting in the Upstate Wednesday morning. The incident happened in the parking lot of an apartment building on Edwards Road in Taylors around 10 AM Wednesday. Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis revealed new details Wednesday afternoon and talked about how the incident started. The identity of the suspect has not yet been released. No injuries were reported to any of the deputies involved. SLED is investigating the incident, which is standard protocol in officer involved shootings.
