An investigation is ongoing after gun fire rained down on an Upstate home, last night. The Spartanburg Police Department responded to a reported drive-by shooting at a home on James Anderson Lane.
When officers arrived, the homeowner told them that she was in bed when she heard shots ring out. When she looked outside , she saw a black SUV speeding away.
More than 40 shots were fired, officers collected 44 shell casings at the scene. The walls, windows, back door and a TV all suffered damage from gunfire.
Thankfully, no one inside the home was injured. There's been no arrests announced in the case, as of the time of this report.
