
Several more threats against schools in the Upstate and Western North Carolina have been reported. Since the tragic and deadly shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia.
Just Monday, the Spartanburg Police Department says threats were made on an Instagram video towards various Spartanburg area schools. A hold was also put on Easley High School, yesterday so a rumored threat could be investigated.
In Western North Carolina, the Yancey County Sheriff's Office says a snapchat post circulated in recent days that contained threats towards schools in multiple counties.
Deputies say no credible evidence was found. Those are the latest instances in the unprecedented upswing in school threats.
