Motorcyclist killed in crash on Upstate highway identified

The victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in the Upstate has been identified. As we previously reported, the crash happened just before 9PM Wednesday night on Highway 29 near the town of Starr in Anderson County.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the motorcyclist lost control and spilled into the roadway. The Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as 30 year old, Yohander Jose Rozo-Mendoza.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
