
A man riding a motorcycle was hospitalized after a fire at an Upstate gas station, Thursday night. The Buffalo Fire Department in Cherokee County responded to a gas station on Blacksburg Highway, around 9 PM.
Officials say, a motorcyclist was filling up a gas can next to a motorcycle that was running. The container overheated and went up in flames.
The man was airlifted to the hospital with burns to over half of his body. There's no word on the victim's condition.
