An investigation is ongoing after the body of an Upstate woman was found in Greenwood, last night. The Greenwood County Coroner's Office says the woman's body was found with at least one gunshot wound.
Sheriff's Office Investigators and the Coroners Office responded to the area of Wilson Creek Road just after 9PM.
The Greenwood County Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as 38 year old, Kasia Dierra Simmons of Simpsonville.
Her death is being investigated as a murder, no suspects have been identified, as of the time of this report.
