An investigation is ongoing after a woman was found dead in her Upstate home. The Laurens Police Department responded to a home on Camp Circle just before 4 PM, Wednesday.
Upon arrival, officers found the woman inside the home after a family member 1st discovered her body. The Laurens County Coroner's Office identified the woman as 46 year old Patricia Owens. She was found with fatal injuries and her death was ruled a homicide.
SLED has been called in to assist in the investigation. No arrests or suspects have been announced, and no further details have been released at this time.
