An Upstate music instructor is facing additional charges after his arrest for a child sex crime charge, last month. As we previously reported, 75 year old John R. Foster was arrested in July for criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
The Spartanburg Police Department says Foster was arrested late last week on two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Foster was working as a music teacher at Roper Music in Spartanburg and police say he inappropriately touched the victim between August of last year and March of this year.
Prior to that, Foster was a social studies teacher at Spartanburg High School for years prior to his retirement from that job in 2015.
