NASCAR Legend and others reportedly dead after jet crash in NC

More information is continuing to come out as the NASCAR community has reacted after a plane owned by driver Greg Biffle crashed in North Carolina, Thursday morning. WCNC TV in Charlotte and WRAL in Raleigh are reporting that Greg Biffle was on the plane and is dead following the crash.

Officials have confirmed at least five people were killed. Biffle's friend, Youtuber and Race car driver Garrett Mitchell posted on social media saying Biffle, his wife, son and daughter were on board the jet when it crashed.

Mitchell said the Biffle Family was on there to Florida to visit with him when the crash happened. Flight records confirm the aircraft was heading to Florida.

Former NASCAR Driver Kenny Wallace posted on social media saying Craig Wadsworth was also on board and was killed in the crash. Wadsworth worked with race teams and drove the motorhome for Wallace for six years.

There's still be no official word on the identities of those killed in the crash. Preliminary reports say the jet was returning to the airport after an issue during takeoff.
