Charlotte based pet food company is voluntarily recalling lots of dog and cat food....
Though no illnesses have been reported by the company, Viva Raw, LLC is recalling dog and cat food after routine inspection by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture discovered potential salmonella and listeria contamination.
A press release issued by the company August 25, 2025 said "The recall impacts six offerings from Viva Raw, LLC. All six [meals for dogs and cats] are sold as frozen, one-pound bricks in clear packaging"
Products from two different Lots are affected: Lot 21495 or Lot 21975. They were distributed directly to consumers nationwide and a small number of retailers, including in South Carolina, between July 2, 2025 and August 21, 2025. CLICK HERE to be directed to product labels.
