A Lenoir County North Carolina School Resource Officer was banged up pretty bad after stepping in to break up a fight on a school bus.
The Lenoir County Sheriff's Office shared via Facebook, Deputy Christopher Little was working at the County Learning Center Wednesday when a fight broke out between a 12 year old and a 16 year old.
While trying to break up the bus fight, Deputy Little was assaulted, with his head going into the window frame. He was transported to the hospital where he received 18 staples (click to see photo shared via Facebook) to close the head wound.
As far as the juveniles, they were not injured but were charged with felony assault on a law enforcement officer inflicting serious injury, resisting arrest and damage to county property.
