New details have been released after an elderly couple was found dead in the yard of a Greenville County home. As we previously reported, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on North Wingate Road in the Gantt Community, Wednesday morning.
Upon arrival, 84 year old Webster Stanley Jones and his wife Catherine Knight Jones were found dead from gunshot wounds. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office now says their deaths were a result of a murder-suicide.
The death of Catherine Jones has been ruled a homicide and her husband's death has been ruled a suicide.
