While continuing to investigate an officer-involved shooting Friday morning in Mauldin, The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is asking the public to come forward with information about a stolen white Nissan Rogue involved in the incident.
The shooting happened in the area of Sarnesfield Way after reports of a possible car break-in. Arriving Officers came in contact with a red Ford Explorer and a white Nissan Rogue. The Rogue was reported stolen.
According to SLED, officers fired at the vehicle and a pursuit with Mauldin Police Department began. The Nissan occupants at the time have not been identified, and it is not known if the occupants were injured.
SLED is asking anyone with information to contact the Mauldin Police Department.
