Spartanburg Police report no charges will be filed in the death of a pedestrian. That collision occurred around 7:30PM Monday on East Main Street in Spartanburg. 26 year old, David Veaseth Spey was attempting to cross the street when he was stuck by a vehicle.

Spey was taken to a hospital for treatment where the Spartanburg County Coroner's office said he died of his injuries Thursday afternoon. The driver of the vehicle involved was not injured and no charges will be filed.
