The victim who was found dead in the water in Union County, days ago has now been identified. The Union County Coroner's Office responded to a drowning in the Lockhart Canal, around 8:30 AM Friday.
Officials say a man was found dead in the water. He's been identified as 77 year old, Carl Boyd McDaniel of Greensboro, North Carolina.
