In what seems to be a recurring theme of late, another lawman has been arrested for misusing Flock Cameras, this time it happened in North Georgia.
The Habersham County Sheriff's Office has announced the firing and arrest of Deputy Christian Brewer. The Sheriff's Office says, an internal audit of the Flock system revealed that Brewer was using the system for personal reasons unrelated to the job.
Brewer has been fired from the Sheriff's Office and has been arrested for misconduct in office and other charges. Unlike South Carolina, Georgia has specific charges for the misuse of the cameras by law enforcement. Some lawmen around South Carolina, expect the Palmetto State to enact similar laws as soon as next year.
