A man with a notorious criminal history has been arrested again in Oconee County. 55 year old, Kevin Maler of Walhalla also known as "Boston" was charged Wednesday in West Union on a charge of trafficking methamphetamine.

Maler has a long documented criminal history, having been arrested for drug related charges on numerous occasions. In 2019, he was charged with distribution of meth.

Maler's infamy grew earlier this year, when he was the subject of a nationally recognized true crime podcast series, that looked into the disappearance of two women. One of those women was Jennifer Faye from Maler's home area of Massachusetts and the other was Faith Roach of Oconee County. Earlier this year, Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw confirmed Maler was a person interest in the Roach case.

The whereabouts of Faith Roach remain unknown to this day and Maler has not been charged in connection with her disappearance.
