An Oconee County man is in custody for drug charges after a chase there, last Friday night. 35 year old, Daniel Lloyd Stevens of West Union, was taken into custody on a list of charges after leading deputies on a pursuit.
The chase started near Bountyland Road and Poplar Springs Road, Stevens then drove onto Highway 11 South, after running a red light. Stevens was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.
Stevens was found with 23 grams of meth and just over a gram of heroin. He's charged with trafficking meth, heroin possession, resisting arrest, failure to stop and various trafficking violations.
