Spartanburg police are hunting a second suspect in last month's kidnap-robbery of a man and woman on the Wofford College campus. The couple told police two masked men came up to the car they were sitting in near West St. John and Daniel Morgan Avenue shortly before 2:30 AM February 20th, and forced them at gunpoint to drive to an ATM and withdraw cash. The bandits left the couple and their car near Tryon Street.

An 18 year old suspect is under arrest. Tajuan Devon Garrett was charged on Tuesday with unlawful carrying of a handgun and receiving stolen goods. The gun had been reported stolen. Two counts of kidnapping, armed robbery and possession of a weapon in a violent crime were added late Wednesday.

Yesterday Garret was ordered held without bond at Spartanburg County Detention Center. Apparently he's not talking. Police are urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect still at large to call CrimeStoppers or any law enforcement agency.
