One person is dead after a two vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a car over the weekend. The crash happened just after 6 Pm Sunday evening on Bethesda Road just east of Spartanburg.
The Highway patrol says both vehicles were traveling eastbound, when the motorcycle tried to pass the car while it was turning left into a private drive. The motorcyclist was transported to Spartanburg Regional and died there around 1:30 AM Monday. The Highway Patrol says the motorcyclist was not wearing a seatbelt.
