The Greenville County Sheriff's office is investigating a fatal weekend fire at an apartment complex. The Boiling Springs Fire Department responded to a fire at Roper Mountain Woods Apartments on Roper Mtn Road, around 11:45PM Sunday night.
Nearly three hours later, firefighters found a victim inside the apartment. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Greenville County Coroner's Office has not released the identity of the deceased, at this time. No further details have been released, as of the time of this report.
