One person is dead and four others are injured following a weekend shooting in Chester County. The shooting happened just after 12 AM Sunday, off of Powell Drive in the northern part of Chester County about 15 miles south of Rock Hill. The Chester County Sheriff's Office says when they arrived on scene they found one person dead.
The Sheriff's Office says before they arrived four others who were injured, had already left the scene on their way to the hospital to be treated for injuries described as "substantial". The investigation is active and SLED has been called in to assist in the investigation. The Sheriff's Office has not released any of the names of any of the people involved in the shooting and no further details were available as of the time of this report.
