One person is dead and another is in custody after a fatal weekend crash in the Upstate. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the collision happened around 11:55 Saturday night on 385 near mile marker 37 in Greenville County.
The driver of Kia Soul was reportedly rear-ended and pushed into the concrete median by a 2013 Audi. The driver of the Kia was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Audi identified as Patrick Sheehan was arrested following the crash. He is charged with felony DUI in the fatal wreck.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released. The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
