One person is dead and another is behind bars after a shooting in the Upstate, Wednesday night. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting on Chalmers Ave in Greenville just after 9PM.
Upon arrival, Deputies found a man who had been shot. He was transported to a local hospital and later died there.
The Sheriff's Office says a suspect is in custody, but they have not released his name, as of the time of this report.
The Coroner's Office has not yet identified the victim.
