One person is dead and another injured following a two vehicle collision over the weekend. The South Carolina Highway says , the crash happened just before 2 PM Saturday on Sitton Mill Road near Seneca.
The accident report says , 20 year old Riley Sutton was driving east on Sitton Mill Road when he veered across the center line and hit a Honda sedan head on. Sutton was wearing a seatbelt, he was freed from his vehicle and taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.
The driver of the Honda was not wearing a seat belt. The driver was flown to the hospital and later died there from injuries suffered in the crash. The Highway Patrol did not release the identity of the deceased driver. The crash remains under investigation.
