One person is dead following a weekend crash in the Upstate. The single vehicle wreck happened in Greenwood County around 11:45 Saturday night on Nations Road, about half a mile south of Ware Shoals.
Corporal Joe Hovis of the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of a Ford SUV was traveling north on Nations Road, when the SUV ran off the road and hit a tree. The driver who has not yet been identified, died at the scene of the crash.
