One person is dead, three others wounded, in a mass shooting episode in Columbia, early Friday morning. Emergency dispatch got the first call reporting a car burglary around 5:00 AM.
The gunfire erupted at a house being rented as an Air BNB in Columbia's Lincoln Street area. Investigators suspect as many as ten people were there at the time.
Four of them, two females and two males, were rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds. One of them, a man, was pronounced dead on arrival.
Columbia's Police Chief says he does not believe the shooting was random and described all involved as young adults.
