The Highway Patrol reports, one person died in a collision on East Standing Springs Road about 2 miles north of Simpsonville. Corporal Joe Hovis says around 10:30 Tuesday night, the driver of 2015 Honda crossed the center line and hit a 2011 Honda head on.
The driver of the 2011 Honda was injured and taken to Prisma Health Greenville, however the driver that crossed the center line died at the scene.
