A reported weekend robbery in Spartanburg County resulted in a shooting that left one person dead. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported robbery at a home on Parris Bridge Road around 2AM, Sunday.
Deputies found one person suffering from a gunshot wound, who was then transported to the hospital. The victim later died at the hospital, he's been identified as 34 year old, Steven J. King.
A suspect 34 year old, Steve Phommachanh was taken into custody. He's is charged with murder, burglary, attempted murder and a weapons violation.
