One person is dead and three more are injured after a weekend crash in the Upstate. The South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the collision on I-385 near mile marker 13 in Laurens County, around 540 Saturday evening.
Troopers say a Chevy SUV and a Chrysler sedan were both traveling southbound when the Chrysler hit the SUV. The impact sit the SUV off the road and into a guardrail. The driver of the Chevy was pronounced dead at the scene, their identity has not been released, of this time.
Three people in Chrysler sedan were injured and were transported to the hospital. The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
