One person is dead and three others are injured after a crash in Oconee County, Friday afternoon. The crash happened around 3PM on Highway 24 near Theo Martin Road in Westminster.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of Toyota sedan was traveling eastbound and struck a Chevy SUV that was traveling westbound. The collision caused the SUV to run off the road and overturn.
The driver of the Toyota was killed in the crash, three occupants in the Chevy were injured and were taken to a local hospital.
The Oconee County Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as 83 year old, Knox Howard Kelly.
