Officials in Pickens County say one person has died after a house fire in Easley, Wednesday morning. The Easley Fire Department responded to that house fire on Lee Ann Drive, around 5AM. The Coroner's Office has not yet publicly identified the victim.
Two others were taken to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire. The Easley Police Department posted on social media that an eleven-year-old girl who was affected needs clothing, footwear, and other essentials.
Anyone who would like to donate new or unworn items can bring them to the Easley Police Department. The school district will provide her with what she needs for school.
