The Greenville County Sheriff's Office investigators are investigating a shooting on Top Lane in Piedmont. Dispatchers got a 911 call just before 3:00AM Wednesday morning, regarding a person who was shot.
When deputies arrived they found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital. The Sheriff's Office has not released any suspect information at this time. The shooting is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
