One injured following shooting in parking lot of Upstate bar

An investigation is underway following a shooting over the weekend at an Upstate bar. Around 2AM Saturday morning, the Greenville Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the parking lot of Brass Monkey bar and grill on Congaree Road. Police say the victim was shot in the leg and suffered what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. As of the time of this report, no arrests have been announced and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
